Our vision is to promote peace, unity, and strength . Strength in utilizing a good mind, strength in unity , and strength in justice . To build on the foundation of justice in facilitating community spirit and enabling the judicial process to continue without prejudice. To build relationships on trust and honesty with all levels of government.

We are presently defending our RIGHTS against the arming of the Canada Border Services Agency on Mohawk Territory. We have been down this road before many times defending our rights and have been knocked down but have not fallen. We are survivors and will continue to seek justice for all that has been imposed on our people and community. We will survive the most recent attack on our sovereign rights as a First Nations People.

Our people have been violated, mistreated, and disrespected by a foreign agent namely the Canada Border Services Agency. Our people have been violated on a daily basis . Human Rights have been totally disregarded within the racial profiling of our people , constant harassment , and contentious border guards. We as a community cannot sit back and watch this injustice against our people continue without recourse.

Together we must  defend our rights by promoting a safe and peaceful environment for our children and elders by demanding that the arming of the CBSA on our territory is UNACCEPTABLE. This infringement on our Rights will not be tolerated.

The Akwesasne People's Fire is a community based organization with a common goal of protecting the rights of our people . We are in dire need of financial assistance in the construction of a more suitable facility to continue working toward achieving peace, unity , and justice in our community.
